Both the selection events, and the final, will be organised as a dinner, open to the public, at which the sommeliers will be judged by a jury whilst serving the guests at the dinner.
The jury will evaluate competitors on the following:
- style of service
- technical knowledge of the world of wine
- presentation capacity
- mastery of non verbal language – gestures, expression, tone of voice
The parameters for evaluation are:
- dress code
- posture
- elegance during service
- presentation of the wines
- competence
- charisma
